The grass will be less tender in the land behind the hills
therefore the north is too green.
Nothing can stop me,
only my heart, for what it has and has had
that needs to get settled, it did not lack anything.
The grass will not be greener on the other side of the hills
therefore the South is too dry.
But the serene life,
makes me silent and in that sound without noise,
my name will resemble me more,
closer to how I feel.

When the space under trees
Lets me enter into growth and pattern
and water mirrors all

When red must make the grass even greener
and mountain paths spring up from animals’ feet

When day and night share their colours with us
and a human carries its child through this world,

let me paint it,
for that’s how I see.
